National Epilepsy Awareness Month
The Epilepsy Foundation has recognized the month of November as National Epilepsy Awareness Month (NEAM) since 1969. JCSAF stands with our friends at the Epilepsy Foundation to raise awareness to epilepsy and the impact on the 3.4 million people in the United States alone that live with this neurological disorder that does not discriminate against race, age or gender.
Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho Gala 2020
JCSAF supports our friends at the Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho and their amazing annual Gala 2023. This event is fun, informative, and had wonderful food and entertainment… and oh yeah, AND some incredible raffles and auctions!
Kappa Karnival
Join Kappa Kappa Gamma at the College of Idaho campus in Caldwell, Idaho for a fun event with carnival style games and other fun activities. Proceeds will benefit JCSAF, Young Survival Coalition and Active Minds.

SUDEP Action Day
SUDEP Action Day is a special day which brings organizations and people together to raise awareness of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) and epilepsy deaths worldwide.
Launched by SUDEP Action on 23 October 2014 (as SUDEP Awareness Day), it shines a light on the largest cause of death in people with epilepsy, helping empower people through increased awareness and raise funds for SUDEP research
Sharon’s ride.run,walk
JCSAF will be joining the Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho for the 2023 Sharon’s Ride.Run.Walk. – a movement that brings our community together to educate, spread awareness and make a difference for the people we love who live with epilepsy. These nationwide events are dedicated to the memory of Sharon Rosenfeld, a nurse and teacher who cared deeply about epilepsy and advocated helmet safety.
